Consent Policy

What you are agreeing to when you take part, and how to withdraw.

This is placeholder copy. Replace it with your reviewed consent policy before launch.

Informed participation

Participation in Econscious is voluntary. Before registering, every participant is shown what data will be collected, how it will be used, and how long it will be kept. Registration is only completed once that has been acknowledged.

Participants under 18

Where a participant is under 18, we require confirmation from a parent, guardian or the sponsoring institution before their responses are recorded.

Institutional participation

Where a college or employer enrols a cohort, the institution is responsible for informing participants that the programme is optional and that declining carries no penalty.

Withdrawing consent

You may withdraw at any time by contacting us. On withdrawal we stop collecting new data and, on request, remove your existing records. Aggregate statistics already published cannot be recalculated to remove an individual.

Use in research and reporting

Anonymised, aggregated results may appear in impact reports, CSR disclosures and academic research. Individual responses are never published.
