Scoring Guide
How Econscious measures ESG awareness and turns it into a score.
This is placeholder copy. Replace it with the finalised scoring methodology.
What the score measures
Your Econscious score reflects two things: what you know about environmental, social and governance topics, and what you actually do day to day. Awareness alone does not produce a high score.
Vibe checks
The programme opens with an introductory questionnaire, followed by six short behaviour questionnaires spread over six days. Each takes a few minutes and covers a different ESG theme.
Daily habit logging
Participants log everyday actions such as commuting choices, energy and water use, waste segregation and community involvement. Logging takes under three minutes a day and scores update immediately.
Streaks and badges
Consistency is weighted deliberately. Logging steadily over the full period scores higher than a single burst of activity. Badges recognise milestones and can be shared.
Prizes
Top participants across partner institutions are eligible for cash prizes at the end of each cycle. Eligibility criteria are published at the start of every cycle.
Fairness
Scores are normalised so that participants are not penalised for circumstances outside their control, such as limited access to public transport or recycling facilities.
