Annual Medical Camp Scheduled for Cheyyar Block
Screening for hypertension and diabetes, with follow-up calls two weeks afterwards built into the programme rather than added on.

The next screening camp will run in Cheyyar block. Attendance is free and no registration is needed.
What will be available
Blood pressure and blood sugar screening, a general consultation, and onward referral where needed.
The follow-up
Every referral gets a phone call a fortnight later. In our own records that call, not the camp itself, is what decides whether treatment actually starts.
Timing
An early-morning slot has been added this year, since working-age men are the group camps consistently fail to reach.
