Student Waste Programme Featured in Regional Press
Coverage of the Chengalpattu class that halved its waste to landfill in six weeks using nothing but two bins and a shared scoreboard.
Placeholder announcement. Replace with a real item before launch — the dates, figures and named partners below are illustrative.
The tracker's first full cohort was covered in the regional press this month, with particular attention to how little the intervention cost.
What the piece got right
It correctly identified the scoreboard rather than the teaching material as the active ingredient, which is also our own reading of the data.
What it left out
The plateau after week six. Waste stopped falling at the point where the remaining volume was canteen packaging the students could not control. That limit matters more than the headline figure.
